Wash Works started because getting an exterior cleaned in Vermont was harder than it should be. Calls went unreturned, quotes arrived as vague hourly rates, and half the outfits that did show up brought a pressure washer to a job that needed a soft wash.

So we built the opposite. The person who quotes your job is the person who does it. You get a fixed written price before anything starts. And we match the method to the surface: low pressure and detergent on siding and roofs, real pressure only where the surface can take it.

Everything travels with us: water tank, generator, hot water and the full range of surface cleaners. Plenty of the properties we work on are on a well, and nobody wants their supply drawn down so their driveway can look nice.

How We Work

• Fixed quotes. One written number before we start, and the same number when we finish.
• We bring our own water. A full tank rides on the trailer, so your well and your water bill stay untouched.
• Soft wash first. Detergent and low pressure on anything that can be damaged, which is most of a house.
• Plants get covered. Before a drop of detergent moves, your beds and shrubs are protected and rinsed after.
• You inspect before we leave. We walk the property with you. Anything you're not happy with, we redo there and then.
• Insured. Certificates available on request for commercial and property-management work.

We're a small, local crew, which means the person who quotes your job is the person who does it. We show up in a clearly marked truck, protect your plantings before we start, and leave the property cleaner than the day we found it. Book two or more services together and we'll bundle the price.
